If you’ve ever been to Wrigley Field, and sat within earshot of some wisecracking die-hard in a Banks jersey — an icy Old Style surgically attached to one beefy paw, and the other wiping mustard on his t-shirt — you already have a pretty good snapshot of super Cubs fan, Joe Schlombowski. 

Joe was born in 2008, the 100 year anniversary of the Cubs’ World Series championship dry spell, so there was still quite a backup of vitriol to share. He did this on his blog, but also through the occasional animated video. It’s these that give the visitor the real measure of Joe’s love for the Cubs, and total disdain for football, the White Sox, and anything else that happens to stick in his craw. Whatever that is.
