Among information technology publications, Computerworld stands alone, partially because they charge for their subscription, and thus have a smaller universe. This, combined with the fact that several other pubs cover the same space, caused media buyers to leave Computerworld off of the recommendation set for their tech clients. This print campaign targeted media buyers and planners, informing them of CW’s no-holds-barred editorial that was the gospel to IT heavy-hitters. Supporting collateral featured in-depth analysis of the IT audience and topical information to help media folks plan smarter buys.
